AML / KYC Policy
FortiVaultX operates a risk-based anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing program aligned with FATF recommendations and the regulatory regimes of the jurisdictions in which we are licensed.
Customer due diligence
All clients undergo identity verification before funding an account. Enhanced due diligence is applied to politically exposed persons, high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients and any client identified through our risk-rating model as elevated-risk.
Ongoing monitoring
Transactions are screened in real time using Chainalysis-grade analytics, sanctions lists and adverse-media data. Patterns indicative of layering, structuring or sanctions evasion trigger automated holds and human review.
Travel Rule
For transfers above the applicable de minimis threshold, FortiVaultX collects and exchanges originator and beneficiary information with counterparty VASPs, in line with FATF Recommendation 16 and local implementations.
Reporting
FortiVaultX files Suspicious Activity Reports with relevant Financial Intelligence Units where required by law. We do not, and may not, notify the subject of such a report.
Sanctions
FortiVaultX screens clients and counterparties against the consolidated sanctions lists maintained by OFAC, HMT, the EU and the UN. Service is not provided to sanctioned individuals, entities or jurisdictions.
